Training Overview

The skilled technician civil (TS-GS) is a team leader responsible for the animation of his team and the progress of the work he oversees.His status allows him to enjoy great autonomy, take wide initiatives and to report on project management. Placed in an engineering or methods, He participates in project design and preparation works (drawings, specifications, programs and calculations). On the ground, he helps in building sites, the responsibility for the implementation, conduct of business, coordination of trades, etc.

His workstation resides within government, public or semi-public and private companies design activities, management and monitoring of projects. He may possibly be charged, in a testing laboratory or research, organization, execution and counting of experience programs. He can also be called to carry out specific activities in the environmental sector and materials engineering.

After the training, the laureate will be able to achieve the following operations and activities:

  • Establish plans
  • Planning a yard
  • Pilot site installations
  • order the needed materials and equipment
  • Implement a work
  • Driving the work
  • Apply the rules of hygiene, safety and environmental protection
  • Execute laboratory tests on materials and soils
  • Determine the costs
  • Receive work

Age restriction: 30 years old for baccalaureate and bachelor holders
School level required: Diploma of Scientific Baccalaureate or Technique at least
Qualities and skills the candidate must have:

  • Healthy physical and mental abilities
  • Good capacity for reflection, analysis and synthesis

Training selection methods:

  • Preselection
  • interview after preselection

The training program duration is 1918 hours and spread over 2 years, including 220 hours spent on the end of studies project and to the internship.

  • Final year project and an internship

Assessments are carried out as follows:

  • continuous controls;
  • Module endofyear examination;
  • promotion examinations;
  • End of training examination.

Currently structural projects in Morocco have created strong job prospects or critical deficiencies in skilled human resources including those of technicians in civil engineering. Employment prospects TS-GC are rather high. This outlook is reinforced by trends in relocation of large foreign companies in Morocco.
